Punto Banco, or Baccarat, is one of the most popular live casino games worldwide. As a card-based game, it is played between two hands – the “banker” and the “player”. The aim of Punto Banco is to reach a total of nine with two or three cards, while the banker and player compete to reach the higher score.
In Lithuania, the rules of Punto Banco are similar to the general ones, with some slight variations. The first and most important rule is that the total of the two cards must be eight or nine. If the player’s total is six or seven, it is considered a “standoff” and the banker wins.
The second important rule is that the banker must draw a third card when the player’s total is five or less. If the banker’s total is five or less, the banker must also draw a third card. The banker must stand with a total of six or seven.
