A shared table is one studio table streamed to many casinos at once. Private or exclusive studios change who sits at the table and how it looks, not how the game works. This guide covers the two main types and what they mean for you.

Dedicated and branded tables

Game studios such as Evolution and Pragmatic Play also run tables for a single casino. The table, backdrop and dealer outfits carry the casino's brand, the chips and layout can use its colours, and the host may speak the casino's main language, depending on the table. Only that casino's players can join.

For you, a dedicated table mostly changes the atmosphere and the language. Some casinos use them for promotions limited to their own players. Branded chips and graphics are part of this styling; they have no cash value outside the game. Check the rules panel: the game should match the studio's standard version.

Private VIP tables

At the high-stakes end, studios offer private tables for players who bet large amounts. Evolution's Salon Privé tables are an example: the studio describes them as a private gaming environment with high maximum bets and a VIP room manager present at all times, where players can choose the dealer and control the shuffle timing and game speed. Evolution also offers VIP Blackjack tables with high limits.

How access works

  • VIP and private tables can be offered to players at a casino's top loyalty levels, sometimes by invitation from an account manager.
  • Minimum bets are high, so the table only makes sense if your normal stake is already at that level.
  • Dedicated branded tables are open to all players at that casino, within the table limits.

If a casino offers private-table access as a reward for depositing more, treat it as a marketing offer. Our guide to live casino VIP programmes explains what to check.

Is a private table worth it?

The benefits are pace, privacy and service. A private blackjack table plays only your hands, which means more hands per hour: at the same stake and edge, that raises the hourly cost of play. Set a time and loss limit as you would at any table. See responsible gaming.
