Short answer

Which live roulette should I play?

Play a single-zero wheel and, where you bet on red or black, a table with La Partage. Avoid double-zero tables: the second zero doubles the cost of every bet.

French with La Partage 1.35%

half back on even-money bets when zero lands

European 2.70%

one zero, the standard live wheel

American 5.26%

two zeros on every bet

The edge on a Lightning or multiplier table is close to standard, but results swing far more.

FAQ

Which live roulette has the lowest house edge?

French roulette with La Partage: even-money bets lose only half the stake when the ball lands on zero, which cuts the edge to about 1.35%. On this site two Evolution tables list that rule at 98.65% RTP.

Is Lightning Roulette worse than European roulette?

Straight-up wins pay 29 to 1 instead of 35 to 1, and random multipliers of 50x to 500x pay the difference back on struck numbers. The RTP listed for the game here is 97.30%, the same as a standard single-zero wheel, with far higher variance.

Is live roulette rigged?

The ball and wheel are physical and sensors read the result. The edge comes from the zero pockets: 2.70% with one zero, 5.26% with two.

What is the minimum bet at live roulette?

The lowest minimum listed on our roulette game pages is $0.10, for example on Pragmatic Play's Auto Mega Roulette. Casinos can set higher minimums.
