Hindi or Modern Standard Hindi is actually one of the official languages of India. Because it's the most spoken language in India, it has a solid place as one of southeast Asia's most important languages. The country's government recognizes it as a working language used in about nine states and three union territories. It belongs to the famous Indo-Aryan language family and is among the Republic of India's scheduled languages.
It is the bridge language in western, central, and northern India. It's also one of the top first languages in the world, with over 250 million speakers. Because India has a booming economy, proficiency in Hindi gives one an advantage, especially in business.
