The main objective in Three Card Poker, also known as Tri Card Poker, is to form a better poker hand than the dealer when playing against the house. A standard game of Three Card Poker involves two hands: the player's and the dealer's.
When playing Three Card Poker, the player is first dealt three cards face down, which they can then use to form a hand on their turn. The player must then choose whether to fold or raise, depending on their thought process and the strength of their cards. If the player decides to raise, they must add an additional bet to the pot, and the dealer then reveals their cards. The dealer must qualify, meaning they must have at least a Queen high in order to proceed with a round.
The winning hand is then determined by comparing the player's and dealer's hands, and the higher ranking hand wins. If the player's hand is higher, they will be paid even money on their ante and raise, and if the dealer's hand is higher the player will lose their bet. If the player and dealer have hands of equal rank, the hand is considered a push, and no money is exchanged.
