Three Card Poker is an exciting variant of poker where players are dealt three cards and can win based on the strength of their hands. The game is played between the player and the dealer and is found in both land-based and online casinos. In Israel, Three Card Poker is found in the majority of live dealer casinos.
In Three Card Poker, the player is dealt three cards face up and the dealer is dealt three cards face down. The player then has to decide whether to continue with the hand and ‘call’ or ‘fold’. If the player calls, they must place an additional bet equal to the Ante bet, and the dealer’s three cards are revealed. The dealer must have a minimum of Queen high to qualify.
If the dealer does not qualify, the player’s hand will be evaluated against the dealer's. The player will win if their hand is stronger and will lose if the dealer’s hand is stronger. If the dealer does qualify, the player’s hand is compared to the dealer’s and the higher hand will win.
In addition, Three Card Poker also offers a ‘Pair Plus’ bet. This is an optional side bet that pays out if the player holds a pair or better. The payouts for this bet can vary from one casino to another but can range from 1x to 40x the player’s bet.
