Pai Gow is a popular Chinese domino game which has a long history in Brazil. The game is played with 32 tiles, usually rectangular, split into two halves. The tiles are shuffled and form a stack of four piles of eight tiles each. Players are dealt four tiles that they must arrange into two hands, one with two tiles and one with three.
The object of the game is to create two hands which will beat the dealerās hands. The first hand is known as the āfront handā and the second is the āback handā. The front hand must be higher than the back hand. The highest possible combination is a pair of sixes. The lowest is a pair of aces. Players must attempt to create a higher combination than the dealer in both hands.
