Punto Banco is a relatively simple card game that is fast-paced and easy to learn. It is played between two hands, the Banker and the Player, with a maximum of eight decks of cards. The objective of the game is to have a hand with a higher total than the Banker's. Players can bet on either the Banker, the Player, or a Tie.
The game starts with the players placing their bets and the dealer dealing two cards to each hand. If either the Player or Banker has a total of 8 or 9, they win automatically. If both hands have the same total, it is a Tie.
If neither hand has a total of 8 or 9, the Player may hit, stand, or double their bet. If the Player stands and neither the Player nor the Banker has a total of 8 or 9, the Banker may hit or stand depending on the total of the Player's hand. The Banker must hit if the total is 0-5, and must stand if the total is 6-7.
