Dragon Tiger is often played with four to eight decks of cards. Players have three choices when placing a bet: Dragon (the card with the higher rank will be the Dragon card), Tiger (the card with the higher rank will be the Tiger card), or Tie (both cards will have the same rank). Each bet will pay out at 1:1, except for a Tie bet, which pays out at 8:1.
The game follows a simple set of rules. Before the game starts, the player has to place their bet. Once the bet is placed, the dealer will deal one card to the Dragon hand and one card to the Tiger hand. The highest rank card will win the game. The card rankings are Ace (high), King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 (low). In the event of a Tie, both Dragon and Tiger hands will have the same rank.
