Glossary
Live casino terms
- Live dealer
- A person who runs the game on camera from a studio or a casino floor. So what: rounds move at a human pace, so fewer bets are settled per hour than on digital tables.
- House edge
- The share of each bet the casino keeps on average over many rounds. RTP is 100% minus the edge. So what: it is fixed by the bet you choose, so the bet matters more than the casino.
- Game weighting
- How much of a bet counts towards bonus wagering, set game by game in the bonus terms. So what: at 10% you need ten times the betting to clear the same bonus.
- Bet Behind
- A blackjack bet on another player's seat, following their decisions. So what: you can play a full table, but you do not choose when to hit or stand.
- Game show
- A live format built around a host and a wheel, ball draw or board, often with bonus rounds and multipliers. So what: the RTP is set per bet spot and is usually lower than on classic table bets.
