The Algerian Dinar, DA (symbol) or DZD (code), has been Algeria's monetary currency since the Bank of Algeria issued it in April 1964. It's also the official currency of residents of the Sahrawi Democratic Republic. The term "dinar" comes from the ancient Roman silver coin, denarius, a coin worth ten asses.
Many Algerian gambling sites and online casinos accept the Algerian Dinar. This provides convenience to Algerian players of live casinos or those who use the Algerian Dinar for online gambling. Notably, they can use the currency to fund their accounts easily and quickly, without the need to make conversions.
