The Gambling Act (Spellagen, 2018:1138) opened Sweden's online market to licensed operators on 1 January 2019. Only sites with a licence from Spelinspektionen may offer online casino, including live dealer games, to people in Sweden. Licensed sites must connect to the national self-exclusion register Spelpaus.se.
