Baccarat is a classic card game of chance that has been entertaining gamblers for centuries. The game is often associated with high stakes and glamorous lifestyles, popularized by movies and casino TV shows. Played mainly with 8 decks of cards, baccarat is one of the oldest live casino games and has long been a favourite amongst Lithuanian players.
In baccarat, the objective of the game is to get as close to the score of 9 with the two cards dealt as possible. Players can wager on the banker, the player, or a tie. The value of each card is as follows: J,Q,K = 0, Ace = 1, and all other cards equal their face value. After the cards are dealt, a third card may be given to either side, depending on the established set of rules from the casino. The winner will be the one with the closest score to 9.
