Live casino studios in the US

US live casino is state by state. A studio must sit in the state it serves, so Evolution runs studios in New Jersey (since 2018), Pennsylvania (2020), Michigan (2021) and Connecticut (2022), and Playtech in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Playtech also films Live from Vegas on the MGM Grand floor, streamed to players outside the US.

What it means for you

What a studio's location changes at the table

General explanation; it applies to every studio location.

Location effects

Dealer language Studios hire dealers for the markets they serve, so native-language tables usually come from a studio near that market.
Opening hours Most tables run around the clock, but some native-language tables open only at the target market's peak hours.
Stream delay Every stream runs a few seconds behind the table and distance adds a little more. Betting closes on the studio's clock, so bet early in the countdown.
Rules and limits The game rules come from the studio and its regulator. The casino picks the tables and limits, so the same game can have different limits at two casinos.

Fairness does not depend on location: the house edge is set by the game rules.
