How it works
Basic strategy
For six to eight decks, dealer stands on soft 17, double after split allowed and no surrender. Read your hand down the left and the dealer's up card across the top.
Basic strategy is the lowest-cost way to play each hand. It does not beat the house, but every departure from it raises the edge you pay.

Cost per hour
Expected cost = stake per round × rounds per hour × house edge. The paces are examples, not timed counts.
RTP: the figure we list for the game. Comparison RTPs: standard rules (Wizard of Odds, roulette basics (wizardofodds.com/games/roulette/basics/); Wizard of Odds, baccarat (wizardofodds.com/games/baccarat/basics/)). Rounds per hour are example paces; studios do not publish them.
Variance
Wins, losses and pushes come close to evenly; doubles and splits add the swings.
Rare hands with big payouts and a higher edge than the main hand.
