Texas Holdem, also known as No Limit Texas Holdem, is the most widely played version of poker in the world. It is also the version of poker that is exclusive to the live dealer format. In Texas Holdem, each player gets two hole cards, with the aim of making the best five-card poker hand, by using any combination of the hole cards and five community cards.
In Texas Holdem, players take turns to bet, raise, re-raise, check and fold, as the game progresses. Betting is limited to a “max bet” of the current pot size, as opposed to traditional poker where players can freely raise to any amount of their choice. Consequently, in Texas Holdem players must be careful not to bet too much.
