Gameplay and Rules
The main objective of Three Card Poker is to assemble a higher-ranking hand than the dealer using three cards. Before the game begins, the player must place an Ante (opening) wager. After the Ante is placed, the player is dealt three cards face-up. The dealer is dealt three cards face-down. The player then has the option to either fold or continue. If the player chooses to fold, their hand is discarded and they forfeit the Ante. On the other hand, if the player chooses to continue, they must place a Play bet, which is equal to the Ante wager. Once the Play wager is placed, the dealer reveals their cards. The dealer must qualify with at least a Queen High to continue the game.
If the dealer fails to qualify, the player will win their Ante wager and their Play wager is returned as a push. If the dealer qualifies and the player has a stronger hand than the dealer, the player will win the Ante and Play wagers. If the dealer has the stronger hand, the player will lose both the Ante and Play wagers. There is also an optional wager called the Pair Plus wager, which pays out if the player has a pair or higher.
