Pai Gow is a popular casino game in Kuwait, similar to the domino-style game of poker known as Pai Gow Poker. Pai Gow is played with 32 Chinese dominoes, each featuring a unique combination of dots. The game is traditionally played on a set of 4 wooden boards, each representing a hand of 4 tiles.
In its traditional form, Pai Gow is played with four players and one dealer, with each player attempting to form the highest-scoring hands from their 4 tiles. Each hand is compared to the hands of the other players. The highest-scoring player wins the hand and is paid out.
In Pai Gow Poker, each player is dealt 7 cards. Players must make two hands from the 7 cards, a 2-card “low” hand and a 5-card “high” hand. The player’s “low” hand must be lower than their “high” hand. The dealer will also form two hands. The player’s hands are compared to the dealer’s hands and the highest-scoring hands win.
