Keno is a popular lottery-like game of chance played in casinos and gambling establishments around the world. Originating in China more than two thousand years ago, the game is played by selecting a set of numbers and predicting which will be drawn. If enough of the player’s numbers match those drawn at random, their payout is determined by the “paytable”.
The rules of keno are relatively straightforward. Players select between 2 and 10 numbers, ranging from 1 to 80, then bet on which ones might be drawn in the next game. The “paytable”, also known as the “payout chart”, is used to determine the payouts for each game. Generally, the higher the number of correct guesses, the more money the player will win.
